The Maker of Stories:

Here, the author transitions from exposition (the discussion about the person and work of Jesus) to exhortation (the commands to endure). He compares the faithfulness of Moses with that of Jesus. In the ancient Jewish culture, Moses epitomized what it means to be a faithful servant of God. Yet Christ was more faithful than Moses, being faithful as a son. Therefore, Jesus is worthy of more glory than Moses. While the house of Israel traces its lineage back to Moses and his leadership, Jesus is the builder of the house.
